Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer, recognized as a member of the group One Direction. Based in Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school. There, with three other students, he created his musical group, White Eskimo. White Eskimo won 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to their excellent performance. Despite having an interest in music he also wanted to be an attorney or an physiotherapist. A part-time job in a city bakery is his very first job to earn money for the family. The year was 2010. Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he performed the song Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. His band was forced to disband due to this. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury member of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles to join the band One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored this five-person group and they were founded in the year 2010. In the contest, the group played songs, such as My Life Would Suck Without You by Kelly Clarkson and Total Eclipse of the Heart by Bonnie Tyler so the group became one of the candidates to be the winner. However, they finished third, behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles' group didn't take home the prize, however Cowell did pay 2 million pounds in cash to One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
