Amanda Blake
Amanda Blake, born as Beverly Louise Neill, was a popular American actor. Her most famous role was in the character of actress Miss Kitty Russell from the TV show "Gunsmoke" but she was also a well-known American actor. The actress was also famous for the roles she played in shows on television such as The Red Skelton Show,' 'Tattletales,' and The Edge of Night. Aside from numerous films, she's appeared in numerous television series, like Stars In My Crown, Duchess of Idaho, ?Cattle Town ?, ?Miss Robin Crusoe $, 'About Mrs. Leslie ?TMs Story ? The le de Paris, the Adventures of Hajjibaba?, a?High Society Blake who was a phone operator, and a lover of animals, loved animals. Along with her partner Frank Gilbert, was one of the first to successfully breed cheetahs in captivity. In addition, the American performer was among the co-founders of the Arizona Animal Welfare League (AAWL). Blake was also a chairman of the board of directors for the Humane Society of the United States. When discussing the awards Blake earned and was inducted into the Hall of Great Western Performers of National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Also, she was awarded the Courage Award by the American Cancer Society.
