Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson (born April 14 70 years ago) is an American singer, actress, writer and director. Her most well-known part is that of Tara Maclay, in the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Alongside that, she's produced, directed and performed in her own films Chance & Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred as her bridesmaid in the Kiss the Bride movie. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Benson has a younger sister Danielle, who works as an artist. Benson, whose father is Jewish and her mother a Southern Baptist was raised in an Alabama Reform synagogue. Benson started appearing in different films, like The Killing Jar. Benson was also a part of TV shows such as Morganville The Series. Additionally, she worked in writing for the Ghosts of Albion Series and was the director of Drones in 2010.
