Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood was born in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She went on to become a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. Sheryl was raised within Little Rock. Sheryl comes from a family that has had many issues. Sheryl was fostered by her sister Frankie. Frankie had suffered from the disease of Polio. She was in problems with her mother as she was growing as a teenager. Sheryl claims that at one point when her mother stabbed her father after he got too close to her. Sheryl, after graduating college, joined the army. Her passion was comedy. In 1989, she was the first woman to make the top in the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. Her TV career began in 1992 when she was a guest performer for the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted the show Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the Talk Show. Additionally, she's played fictional roles in series including Bulworth Nikki as well as Beauty Shop.
